Teaching, Lectures and Moderation

Passing on experience to the next generation of artists is particularly important to me.

As a lecturer at the Berlin University of the Arts, I teach orchestral management for conductors. In my seminars, I combine practical insights from the professional music world with open discussion formats, guest contributions from practitioners, and shared reflection on artistic leadership and professional identity.

The aim is to encourage young conductors, at an early stage, to engage with the institutional, communicative and strategic dimensions of their profession in a realistic, encouraging and practice-oriented way.

In addition, I regularly work as a moderator, speaker and panellist at specialist events, conferences and industry gatherings, including in international contexts (for example at events organised by the International Artist Managers’ Association). I moderate discussions at the intersection of art, management and institutions, bringing together different perspectives and creating the conditions for structured, respectful and intellectually substantial exchange.

I am also available to cultural institutions, universities, professional associations and conferences for panel discussions, lectures and moderation, particularly on topics such as audience engagement in music, artistic leadership, institutional change, and collaboration between the artistic and managerial spheres.
